If You Bothered To Imagine...Were You Even Close?

For some time, Wolf and I have been involved in some sort of sick "Revenge Meme" contest.  I'm not even sure of the rules, but I think maybe he just won.  To top this one I may have to remove my own spleen in a YouTube video and challenge him to do the same.

Spoiler Alert!

Wolf has challenged me to show my face.  If you'd rather I remain anonymous (and who could blame you?), for god's sake, don't click the "More" link following this sentence.

Ta Da!

Forgive the poor quality, but I'm not ready to purchase more space just yet.

I'm not sure how the interview part goes so I'll just use a similar format to Wolf's.

Blog Title:                Pinhole's Blog
Blog Description:     Not much to tell, really. I'm convinced I'm actually someone's
imaginary friend...doesn't explain the haircut, though.
Country:                   USA
Occupation:              Yes
Email:                       3, if you count the Yahoo! accounts
Birthday:                  June 11th (Asparagus the 18th, by the Pinholian Calendar)
Favorite Color:         Blue
Favorite Drink:         Iced Tea
Favorite Fruit:          Paul Lynde
Favorite Dessert:     Mojave
Hobbies:                   Right now, apparently, it's participating in these damn memes.
Blogs with my pics:  Now, one.  No one else has had the stomach for the task.

Rules for those that follow: Post a short article and include your photo. If you already have a pic online somewhere, get creative with a new one. Next, include a link to the others who have displayed their pic, or include their pic in your post, adding a reference to it.

For my list of links to others who have posted photos, simply go to the bottom of Wolf's entry.

Now, at the risk of alienating my last few acquaintances, I issue this challenge, if they choose to participate, to:

High Fidelity
FF&F
Silken
&
Jen

Remember me fondly, once they've disposed of me.

Oh, phooey. I think they'll be just as good sports as you are. But I think you're right - I just won. How about we do a kidney each, simultaneously, on YouTube?
And nice to see you, by the way!

Don't get too cocky!  I'm not sure I'm ready to concede, just yet!  Though you're probably right.

      Nice to see you, too.

Well, there you are!!! Now I know what everyone looks like from our little writer's group... though for some reason I was picturing you with curly hair.

When my beard gets long it gets curly, or it did before it started going gray.  I now know the appearance of all but one in the group.

I had pictured you as considerably older, somehow, with significantly less hair. (Is that Stonehenge on your computer, there behind you?) See? I'm still speaking to you...

Yes, that's a photo my son took while he was there, and it is now my wallpaper.  Unfortunately, I haven't made it to Stonehenge, yet.

I'm old enough without trying to extend it.  My oldest son (who took the Stonehenge photo) will be 33 next month.  The youngest son is 27...and how much less hair?  Geez, I hope you're not psychic.

Thanks for still speaking to me.

I'm not going to tell you how long ago my visit to Stonehenge took place! But I arrived in pitch darkness, spent the night in the parking lot in a VW van, and saw it for the first time at sunrise: rather special.

Sons should never be allowed to age beyond whatever years their father *feels* he still is!

Well, I didn't spend much time imagining, Pinhole, but I somehow didn't imaging the beard. Having seen Merry's comment, I'll have to chase the photos of the others. I've been tagged for this meme by Wordvixen, so I'd better start thinking of some answers.

I have had the beard almost all of my adult life, Sharon.  I shaved it a couple of times, only to find that everyone, myself included, preferred I cover as much of my face as possible.

I was going to tag you, but already knew what you looked like.  At least I assume that's really you in the photo.

Yup, that's me all right. I think I only have two photos online. One of them's ok, but the mugshot in the red shirt was a desperate 'must have a pic' upload. I think I need to replace it with something that doesn't crack mirrors.

Good for you!  I know what you mean about just the right pic, though.  I thought about using one from 20 years ago, but changed my mind.  Mine was taken about 2 weeks ago.

OK, I'm still speaking to you. But you might NOT be speaking to me once I've met the challenge.

It's funny -- I am closer to your son's age, but look older than you. Well, you'll see when I've posted the link to my answer to your challenge!

I can hardly wait!  I'm sure you're exaggerating, but in any event, I doubt a photo could make me stop talking to you.  You've seen my photo...I'm the last one to be throwing stones.

I enjoyed seeing you, and you handled the dreadful meme, marvelously.  They are all dreadful though, aren't they?  Good to shake me up once in awhile, however.

      Thanks,

Tolerate it?!  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I think we feel the same about the memes, but they do drive some traffic.  The more creative and less "memeish" they are the more I enjoy them,

Thanks, again, for playing at all.
