"Are We There, Yet?" - A Recurrent Dispatch

(With apologies to Peregrine Online, and any other legitimate travel blogs.)

First, I’d like to make it clear that I live alone.  Fortunately, through a series of circumstances for which she has yet to offer any satisfactory explanation, so does my cat, Gwendolyn.   Given the ability to have translated the physics of this arrangement to a relationship with a member of the opposite sex, there is the slim possibility I might still be married.  But, that’s an entirely different story; one that is, perhaps, best suited for telling late at night round a roaring campfire.

With the convenience of modern imaginary travel, and Gwendolyn’s snappy new wardrobe, we had no excuses for not hitting the open road; though we rarely travel together.  Someone must stay at home and feed the spiders.

We’ve done our best to record these journeys for those who don’t have access to the same transportation made available to Gwendolyn and myself.  We hope you enjoy them.

So as Roy Rogers always said to Dale Evans, “Move darlin’, you’re ruinin’ my close-up.”
