You Should Have Thought Of That Before We Left The House
I continue to be astounded at the capacity and endurance of the human bladder. A fabulous little balloon that, if functioning properly, saves us the discomfort of being catheterized. Volumes have been written about this versatile article, and numerous articles composed expounding on its volume.
As I winced and squinted and crossed my legs through the final moments of last night’s game it occurred to me that Jayhawks must have large and durable bladders, as well. It would, after all, match the tenacity and stamina of these mythical creatures.
Jayhawks were dominant in their battle against slavery, though at times ruthless in the accomplishment of their goals.
I’m guessing the big beak is merely an evolutionary result of decades of “Rock Chalk” cheers. The shoes an endorsement deal gone terribly wrong.
Oh, and one other fact about the Jayhawks…

It got kind of scary for a few minutes but, fortunately (not for UNC), they pulled it out.

I have never seen more complete domination of a good team than Kansas displayed in the first fifteen minutes of the game!
I picked Memphis to win it all when the bracket came out. It should be a fun game tomorrow night!

I don't know if Kansas can put together two games in a row like the one the other night, but I kind of hope you picked wrong. At the very least I hope it's a good game.

my son was disappointed, as he was pulling for Memphis...me? I didn't watch the game at all!

Sorry that your son was disappointed, Silken. I'm sure he wasn't the only one. But both of my sons were born in Lawrence, Ks. and the youngest is a basketball fanatic. My brother and two of his daughters are also alums of KU. Although most of us no longer reside in the state, needless to say, the entire family was pretty ecstatic.

I thought you'd like that.
Maybe the "Utehawks" will win it all next year.

Some members my family (Memphis/Arkansas branch) were pulling for Memphis. Perhaps they had insufficient bladder control.

Elasticity is the key, Malcolm. Perhaps I should publish a training manual.
Sorry your family members were disappointed. Unfortunately, both teams couldn't win.

Neat!
Whenever I see an anonymous comment, I assume it's either you, or Eva Longoria. (I can only assume her husband is the jealous type.)
